The Worcester Education Equity Roundtable and the Worcester Coalition for Education Equity are excited to host a two-part series to promote community advocacy around education funding in Worcester.
Session 1: Community Briefing on the WPS Budget

Learn about education funding coming into Worcester and provide input on your funding priorities
Education Trust State Director Natasha Ushomirsky will provide an overview of available federal, state, and local education funds. Worcester Public School Chief Financial and Operations Officer Brian Allen will share about planned fund use. Participants will then have a chance to ask questions and share their funding priorities.
Session 2: Community Advocacy

Come together with other families and education advocates to learn more about a toolkit you can use to make change on critical education matters, including the WPS budget
In Session 2, The Education Trust team will introduce an education advocacy toolkit. Participants will then have a chance to connect with others to identify budget advocacy priorities and next steps.
