Leadership Worcester is a distinctive program to cultivate the next generation of leaders in Worcester by engaging promising new professionals in Greater Worcester’s civic life including economic development, education, public health, culture,
public safety, and sustainability.
About the Program
Leadership Worcester offers training and skill development to participants, connecting them with key players in the city. It creates a network of thinkers and doers who can move the region and each other forward. Gain a first-hand understanding and experience of critical issues facing Greater Worcester.
The program runs from September through May and during that time participants meet monthly to:
Build skills that enhance professional development and contribute to civic advancement;
Meet current leaders in business and government as well as other up-and-coming talent;
Engage on key topics and propose solutions to fundamental public challenges;
Have fun while expanding their professional network.
Lead partners are Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce and Greater Worcester Community Foundation.
The Worcester Education Collaborative develops and facilitates the education module of the program.
