On April 14th, the U.S. Department of Education released its inaugural equity action plan as part of the Biden-Harris Administration's continued commitment to advancing racial equity and support for underserved communities through the federal government.
The plan includes:
Prioritizing access to and completion of an education beyond high school
Ensuring equitable impact of ARPA funding for K-12 students
Investing in educator recruitment and retention
Supporting student loan borrowers.
