This conference is designed for young men, educators and youth workers, and juvenile justice professionals.
The goal for this event is to twofold: to explore the issues affecting young men and their education in school beyond and to create a call for action among leaders for city-wide initiatives to support and develop our youth.

The Conference is the outgrowth of several years of work by a coalition of community partners in the School Climate Subcommittee under the umbrella of the Worcester Mayor and City Manager’s Youth Violence Prevention Initiative. By enhancing our community’s knowledge on how to effectively meet the distinct needs of boys we hope to inform practice and improve educational and life outcomes for our youth. Organizing partners include the Worcester Education Collaborative, the Boys and Girls Club of Worcester, Worcester State University, St. John’s High School, among others.
